4:30 -Hearing concludes.

Our turn. Of course I have to testify that the ACLU claim is baseless as there is a federal court of appeals decision directly on this point, considered the same argument made today by the ACLU, and the court rejected it. This court relied on U.S. Supreme Court precedent in upholding a license plate bill. And actually, in that case it was the ACLU that sued, and lost. Do you see a trend? Glad we were there to correct this distortion put out there by the ACLU.

Of course, the ACLU is testifying, threatening lawsuits, as usual. Of course they don’t cite any case or authority by which they would sue, just their opinion that the bill is unconstitutional. Too bad they don’t know about the federal appeals court case I am going to mention that rejected their argument.
